The Bass Extra Rosin is designed for cold and dry climates. In very cold and dry climates, Leatherwood Bass Extra Rosin will perform better than Bass Rosin as an orchestral rosin.

• Generally, the strength of the bow hair is weakened in high humidity, and the rosin becomes soft in high temperature.

Leatherwood Rosin Bass How-To :

• Carefully separate the walls of the rubber cup from the rosin
• Lift the rosin slightly out of the cup or peel down the sides of cup
• Keep your fingers touching the sides of the cup, not the rosin
• Apply with slow bow strokes, with heavy pressure on the rosin
• Swipe towards the center of the rosin to avoid chipping
• Apply 2 to 5 swipes for best use
• To melt your rosin back into shape, just sit it in the cup on a flat surface in a warm environment (over 23°C) and it will gradually melt back into the shape of the cup.
• Please allow it to cool down and harden before using it again
